Research Centers
At the German University of Digital Science the scientific exchange and collaboration between professors and researchers is organized in research centers, which are very agile and flexible organizational units that provide an inspiring framework for the dynamic research activities of the researchers. They provide the organizational frame professors, doctoral students and postdocs can engage in close scientific exchange and collaboration.
At the middle of a research center is its research school. In the research school, the professors of a research center jointly supervise “their” doctoral and postdoctoral students. For this purpose, weekly joint research seminars are held and retreats, symposia and a lively scientific exchange with the other research schools of the German University of Digital Science are organized. The research schools are endowed with attractive doctoral scholarships.
