Research Schools

At the center of each Research Center there is a PhD program called Research School. In the Research School, the professors of a Research Center jointly supervise “their” doctoral and postdoctoral students. For this purpose, a weekly joint research seminar, two annual retreats, symposia and conferences are held, and a lively scientific exchange with the Research Schools of the other Research Centers of the German University of Digital Science is organized. In the Research Schools, professors, doctoral students and postdocs can enter into a close scientific exchange and work together. The Research Schools are endowed with attractive doctoral scholarships. The basis for doctoral studies is the attached draft of the doctoral regulations.
